In early 2018, we, veterans and now the owners of Discount Annex, were experiencing numerous health issues, including cognitive fog, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and low energy, all of which stemmed from work and other daily stressors. Our journey to better health began with a desire to explore alternative methods that could improve our well-being without the side effects of traditional medication.
After multiple trips to the doctors and numerous medications prescribed, all with unpleasant side effects, we decided to try something different. We started researching various natural remedies and wellness practices, which led us to discover a whole new world of holistic health solutions.
We began meditation, exercises, taking vitamins, eating healthy, and practicing good sleep hygiene. Over a short period, we realized that these alternative methods started to pay off. Not only did our health improve, but we also experienced increased focus, energy, and a renewed sense of balance in our lives.
As we felt our health improve, we realized that many other people struggled with similar issues. This realization was the catalyst for the creation of Discount Annex.
